God's Master Plan
BIBLE REFERENCES:

Genesis 1 & 2 (NIV) “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

Psalms 32:8 (NIV) “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you. Many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord’s unfailing love surrounds the man who trusts in him.”

Ephesians 1:4 (NIV) “For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.”

2 Thessalonians 2:11, 12 (NIV) “For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.”

2 Peter 3:10 (NIV) “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.”

Revelation 21:1 (NIV) “Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea.”
APPLICATION:

Everything started with God and everything will end with God. This is what the Bible teaches.

From the very beginning God had a master plan; a plan he has followed, even up to this day. All of us are included in this plan; no one is left out. His plan covers both the good and the bad. His plan includes good things for all who choose to put their faith and trust in him; it also includes bad things for all the rest.

No matter what side of the fence you find yourself on, you are still part of God’s master plan. If you decide to kick dust on His plan for your life; well, that too is covered. Just keep in mind there are always consequences to follow – both good and bad!

Do you really think you know more about life than God? I know for a fact you don’t! Sure, you can rebel and go your own way. But, considering the consequences why would you want to? If you decide to fight against God and reject his ways you will lose. Guaranteed!

It really is in our best interest and long term good to fit into the plan God has designed for our lives. We will be blessed if we do.

 A PRAYER:

“God help me to fit securely into your plan for my life. Show me the best path to follow. Keep me pliable and teachable and keep me from becoming stubborn and obstinate and stuck in my own ways.”
