At this, the administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent.”

“Excellent! Good job! Well done!” These are words most of us want to hear, especially if they are directed our way.
We all need and want other’s approval. We all like to be thought of as the cream of the crop, top notch, a person of integrity and value. Not many of us want to be thought of as mediocre or just plain average.
Daniel, a man referenced in the Old Testament, has been a real hero of mine over the years. This man distinguished himself from the crowd by his unusual God given talents and skills and his ability to do things right and get things done. It was not just his religious practices that got noticed by others (including the king) but it was also his attitude at work, his work ethic, even in the menial tasks he was required to perform.
